Hot!!! Scorching!!! Yes it was. The intensity amplified and did not drop. Maybe because it was the new year, the first day of spring and a Thursday, the last day of the week for Red v Gold: Spring Edition. Nevertheless, as we say around here,  “no one wants to loose but someone have to, its futball.” Such is the case on this day, it was the Red teams turn to loose. The heat was on as the Gold team started out with a strong attack and forced the Red team into their half for the first half of the game. They were on the defensive with few chances offensively, but as the game progressed and the second half gave way, the tide turned, and for the last 15 to 20 minutes if the game, it was the Gold team on the defensive. Still, it had to be so because in the last 20 minutes of the game it was the Indian / Kamal who became the Gold teams hero for the night as he came off the bench with a hunger and capitalized on the mishap of the Red team by scoring the winning goal. The highlights of the game was he, the man of the match Indian, gave Warner a nice neat surprising salad. Speaking of Warner, it was not his night because he also picked up a pile from Steve in the evening. That’s how it goes, sometimes you have to take one for the team because as Steve later stated, it was a clear goal for him if Jiggy did not intervene.

Though the Red team may have tasted defeat, they left the field with their heads held high, knowing they had given their all in a hard-fought battle. The stage is now set for a thrilling rematch on Match Day 5, with both teams hungry for success and eager to prove themselves in what promises to be another heated showdown. The table is now square with two wins from both teams and as usual, we are here to relay it to you.
