Exciting start to the 2023 Genesis Champion’s League Winter Season. As usual The Gold Gemz was back in form after a horrible pre-season showing. As stated by the team management, “we knew were ready for the task ahead and no doubt are ready for the three-peat…” It was a strong showing from both teams but there could only be one winner and the result was obvious. According to Mr. Mahad, “…we came to play, they came to play around…” Some highlights of the match was Indian mashing up Emilio, Emilio salading Amani and Ahdjogo piling Delibe, signifying a welcome to the Genesis Red v Yellow competition. However it was Lando aka Duggy from the Gold Gemz who drove the stake into the hearts of the Red Side and deflated their balloon during the middle of the game. He went on to become the man of the match, very well deserving. Congratulations to him in setting the pace of goal scoring and MOTM for the new winter season. Looking forward to a great season.
